180 Kids is our Wednesday night group for Kindergarten - 4th grade. 180 Kids is fun, interactive, and educational. Our goal on Wednesday nights is to introduce God and Faith to children, and to build friendships within our class. Fellowship among children is an important aspect of their spiritual growth.

Frequently Asked Questions
180 Kids is a high energy, fun Wednesday night worship group for kids from Kindergarten to 4th grade. Our class is meant to provide an opportunity for praise and spiritual growth as well as an introduction to Christ for those that may be new to our church.
What is 180 Kiddos?
180 Kiddos is a spiritually-enriching, fun Wednesday night program for preschool children ages 3 – 5 (Kindergarteners are also welcome). Our class is a wonderful alternate opportunity for preschool children who are new or returning from our Sunday morning programs to create relationships with peers and learn enriching stories from the Bible.
Both of our 180 Programs take place on Wednesday night from 6:30 to 7:30. Children are invited to come early and eat pizza for $1.00 a slice. This is a good opportunity to have fun with their friends, and make new friends as well! We run our group from early September until November 15th, then break until January 3rd and run until mid May.
Our 180 Kids program serves children in grades Kindergarten through 4th. 180 Kiddos serves children aged 3 – 5 and, also welcomes Kindergarteners. We do have our 180 Nursery program available for children ages 0 -2 years.
As noted above, 180 Kids is high energy! We start with an interactive game or activity, then have praise worship, which includes a lot of singing and dancing. Our lesson is video based, and supplemented with scripture and questions for the group. At the end of our class the kids will get a snack, and pray before heading home for the night.
Our 180 Kiddos group will include free-play fellowship, children’s music worship, short prayers, Bible lessons and a relating craft ending with a fun snack or treasure choice option for preschoolers!
Parents are welcome to stay and observe or be with their child to make them more comfortable. Our hope is that they will acclimate and become comfortable, but we want them to enjoy coming, and if it helps to have you there at first, then you should be.
We do not require pre-registration and there isn’t any cost in attending 180 Kids. We will ask that you fill out a brief form so that we are able to enter your child and your information into our computer system so that we can print the sign-in and pick-up labels.
This is a top priority in our Children’s Ministry. We have a group of 5-7 volunteers that serve in our 180 Kids group each Wednesday, and a group of 2 volunteers plus a teacher in our 180 Kiddos group. Our volunteers and teachers have a special responsibility to ensure that kids are monitored and safe at all times. We have specific policies in place to make sure that your child is safe when they are with us. All leaders and volunteers are required to complete a background check before they are able to serve in our Children’s Ministry in any capacity.
If there is any special need or medical condition we need to be aware of, please don’t hesitate to talk to us. Our nametag system allows us to add an allergy alert, so that all leaders and volunteers will be aware. The best idea is to just have the conversation first, and we will do all we can to accommodate.
You can talk to any of our room leaders, the children’s ministry director – Jeremy Hunze, or our lead pastor – Pastor Steve Larson. Any concerns will be addressed appropriately.

Meet the teacher:
Jeremy Hunze – 180 Kiddos Teacher and CCC Children’s Director
I am the Children’s Ministry and Outreach Director at Community Celebration Church. As a part of this, I teach our elementary age children on both Sunday morning and Wednesday evenings.
I am married to Jennifer, and have been since 2003. We have been blessed with two amazing children, Sophie and Dalton. Jen and I both grew up in the Winona, MN area, and have called Mantorville home since 2014. We have attended CCC since moving to Mantorville, and love it here, it has felt like home since day one. My calling in to children’s ministry caught me by surprise, it wasn’t something that I had ever consider. That being said, I absolutely love what I am doing. I enjoy getting to interact with and get to know the children as they grow spiritually. I look forward to serving in this capacity and seeing what God has planned for our ministry and congregation.
Amber Poznik – 180 Kiddos Teacher and Children’s Ministry Assistant
I am a part of the CCC staff as a part-time employee teaching the Preschool/Kindergarten group in our Kingdom Kids Sunday program during both church services. I also lead our preschool group, 180 Kiddos – which is an exciting, new addition to our Wednesday night options! I am currently active as Stephen Leader in CCC’s Stephen Ministry program, as well as a co-leader of women’s groups and Bible studies.
I am married with two precious boys, and my family serves along with me in our children’s programs, and we currently live near CCC in Byron – GO BEARS! I enjoy so much building relationships with the children and parents who attend and visit CCC. During the teaching process in our preschool/Kindergarten group, the Lord has and continues to teach me wonderful and amazing things! I definitely have the best job in the world. 😊
