What To Expect

You have probably passed by our church many times, and wondered what this place is all about. Our motto is “Come As You Are”. We really mean that! Wear your jeans, sandals or shorts. We also believe that we are all under construction spiritually, so you are welcome to come no matter where you are in your journey. Perhaps you haven’t gone to church in a while – the sermons were boring, the organ music put you to sleep, or you were always being asked to give money. Maybe you are ready to experience a new beginning. Maybe you feel a tugging on your heart to become a Christian – or at least to discover what this Christianity stuff is all about. Give CCC a try!

In our services, you will experience uplifting contemporary music and a casual, friendly atmosphere. Our band inspires us during Sunday services. You might have hear many of the songs on Christian radio. Everyone worships in their own way – for some it means singing, lifting their hands and clapping along, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words. You are welcome to do whatever makes you feel most comfortable.

Our services are simple to follow. Each week, our senior pastor, Steve Larson, prepares a relevant, straightforward message based on Scripture. These messages are designed to be helpful in your everyday life. In the bulletin, you will find a sermon outline and note taking sheet.

Look for our host ministry team – identified by name tags- who are available to help you if you have any questions. After each service, our prayer partners will be in the front to pray with you if you desire. You may also write in any comments/concerns/prayer requests on the offering envelopes found on the seats and place it in the offering basket as it is passed. Our prayer team will then pray for you during the week.

During offering time, our visitors are reminded that they are not expected to give. This is an act of worship for our members and regular attendees, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work He is doing in their lives.

We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month. All who are followers of Jesus Christ may participate. The elements are passed out row by row, and we ask that you hold the elements for us to all partake together.

See our children's page for class and nursery information.
