Middle School (S.H.I.E.L.D.)

S.H.I.E.L.D. is our ministry for 5th -8th-grade students and meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm in the sanctuary with Pastor Kelsey Gronseth. Check out our Facebook page for dates and Special Events. 

Additional Info

  1. When 5th-8th graders meet together, we break the kids up into 5th/6th and 7th/8th for small group table discussions each night.  
  2. This ministry's purpose is to take kids deeper into the heart of God's Word to discover an active faith they can claim as their own.  
  3. S.H.I.E.L.D. stands for Serving Him: Inner Circle of Evangelical and Leadership Development.  
  4. This was inspired by (Marvel comics...but mostly) Ephesians 6:11-16, specifically verse 16 "take up the shield of faith against the enemy."  
  5. We want to equip our kids with knowledge of the Word of God, impress upon them the love of God, and make future "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."
