The Life Giving Connection: Nurturing your soul in Jesus

Mar 6, 2022

John 15:4-5 Message
4 "Live in me. Make your home in me just as I do in you. In the same way that a branch can't bear grapes by itself but only by being joined to the vine, you can't bear fruit unless you are joined with me. 5 "I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you're joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can't produce a thing.

Is rugged Individualism keeping you from Remaining in Jesus?

Henry Blackaby:

In this new relationship you move into a servant role with God as your lord and master. The common understanding of a servant is someone who approaches that master and says, “Master, what do you want me to do?” The master tells him, and the servant goes off by himself…and does it.
But this is not the biblical picture of a servant of God. Beings God’s servant is quite different from working for a human master. A servant of a human master works for his master. God, however, works through…. His servants.
How to stay Connected to Christ?
1.Morning by morning
2.Moment by Moment

How can I talk about this in family devotions this week?
